As everyone may have known, a recording studio is a place where you will be recording your song, literally. However, there is something about this specialized facility that has a significant impact on the outcome of the album being recorded there. Without audio production, mixing, and sound recording, there will be no song to be produced, and the world wouldn’t hear its beautiful sound.

Knowing the Famous Studios

It will be a dream come true for an aspiring artist like us to visit and step foot on the studio where our favorite song was recorded. Visiting would be awesome. That is why these are the following of some of the studios that truly deserves to be given recognition:

Capitol Studios – operated in 1956 in Hollywood, this iconic studio had recorded few of the influential artists like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and The Beach Boys. The most iconic album that they have recorded here is entitled “Surfin’ USA” by The Beach Boys. You will know that an album is recorded here has that Capitol Studios’ imprint in its musicality. This is all because of their echo chambers that were built in the studio’s basement.

Sun Studios – this recording studio in Memphis has sometimes been known as the place where rock n’ roll was born. This place had been the great promoter behind some of the iconic artists such as Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and the undisputed king of this genre -Elvis Presley. It was also home of the known rhythm and blues artist, B.B. King.

Abbey Road – if you have heard of the same-titled album, then you have probably known why this studio is legendary. This studio operated in 1931 and goes with its name as “EMI Studios,” it becomes famous because the four-member rock band, The Beatles had recorded most of their albums here. Aside from The Beatles, other artists such as Radiohead, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran and group Pink Floyd also recorded some of their albums here.
